Natural Tails Ingredients

Ever wonder why dog food companies use the ingredients they do? Well we want you to know exactly what ingredients we use, and what benefits those ingredients have for your pup.
Apples: are high in Vitamin C as well as a host of other antioxidant compounds. The fiber content, while less than in most other fruits, helps regulate bowel movements. Apples also help in controlling cholesterol because they have no cholesterol, and plenty of fiber, which helps reduce cholesterol by preventing re-absorption.
Beef: is the perfect source of protein, zinc and Vitamin B12. Beef supplies high quality protein, complete with all nine essential amino acids. Beef is one of the most important dietary sources of iron, and it contains significant amounts of the B-complex vitamins riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, B6, and B12.
Blueberries: are packed with antioxidants, fiber, manganese, Vitamin K, and certain compounds found in blueberries have been found to reduce stroke damage in animals. Also, blueberries will help to keep your pup fit because of their ability to lower cholesterol, improving and even reversing signs and symptoms of heart disease.
Eggs: are a great natural source for a large supply of proteins and provides significant amounts of several vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, riboflavin, folic acid, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, choline, iron, calcium, phosphorus and potassium. The Egg is also one of the few foods that naturally contains Vitamin D.
Garlic: is a great way to ward off disease, parasites, and stress. This great tasting, all-natural spice is added to many of our foods for its great taste and it’s amazing effects on your dog’s health. Garlic is also beneficial in preventing heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and improving the immune system. It is an effective antibiotic, anti-fungal, and anti-viral agent.
Honey: is chock-full of vitamins and minerals like B6, thiamin, niacin, riboflavin, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and zinc.
Milk: we use Milk to provide good, nutritious, all-natural flavor to our baked products – and we know dogs can taste the difference. With each bite of our baked goods, your canine companion is being fortified with calcium, vitamins, and minerals that will make them happy & healthy. Milk contains numerous vitamins and minerals like Vitamins D and K, which are essential for bone health, Vitamin B12, potassium, magnesium, and riboflavin, which promote cardiovascular health and energy production. Biotin and pantothenic acid are B vitamins that are also important for energy production.
Mint: contains a number of vitamins and minerals, rich in Vitamins A and C, and also contains smaller amounts of Vitamin B2. Although mint may be consumed in small quantities, the vital nutrients obtained are still beneficial.
Peanut Butter: the PB used in all of our products is made of 100% peanuts, no extra sweeteners, preservatives or anything unnatural. This means that your dog is getting a great source of all-natural protein and if that’s not enough, Peanut Butter is also a great source of Vitamin E which is beneficial to preventing diseases and an excellent source for Biotin(Vitamin H), which is said to be helpful for thin, splitting nails, and great for the coat.
Turkey: is a delicious, nutritious protein. A 3 oz serving of boneless, skinless turkey breast contains 26 grams of protein, 1 gram of fat and 0 grams of saturated fat. That’s 8% more protein than the same size serving of boneless chicken breast, or trimmed top loin beefsteak. No wonder it’s the perfect protein.
Whole Grains: like Wheat and Rolled Oats are rich in dietary fiber, antioxidants, protein, dietary minerals, (including magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, and selenium) and vitamins (including niacin, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin E).
